My Best Wine Experiences in Germany

I’m reminiscing on the amazing wine experiences I had while in Germany. The wine there were very affordable and were cheaper than wine in the US. Have you been to a country or city with amazing affordable wine? Let me know about it in the comments.

If you think I’m joking about how affordable the wine in Germany was, check out a sample price list of wine by the glass below.

My Experiences

A lot of wine glasses were measured

Some servers made sure to serve exactly the amount ordered

Other times there weren’t any measurements and the glasses were pretty full

I got asked if I wanted a full glass of wine and I said “yes”. I wouldn’t have thought the person meant literally.

I miss the German fall wine, Federweisser (or Neuer Wein)

And when a regular glass size of wine isn’t enough, get a 0.5L glass instead 🙂

Bonus Pictures for my beer-loving readers!

My wine experiences were great and I would love to go back especially for the Federweisser. Wanna know more about my trip to Germany? Check out my post on 15 things to know before visiting Germany.
